You might be able to glean a little more of the various rituals' meanings from <a href="http://www.usccb.org/liturgy/eastervigil.shtml" rel="nofollow">this USCCB document</a> with guidelines for the Easter Vigil liturgy. At the moment, I can't find too much else explaining Easter liturgy. The sprinkling rite is part of a renewal of the believers’ baptismal vows.
